About Brad
Brad practiced law as a Barrister and Solicitor in British Columbia, Canada for five years, starting his legal practice with the national firm of Lang Michener in Vancouver, B.C. He moved to Oregon in 1999, where he worked at Harrang Long prior to joining Hutchinson Cox and becoming a partner here. His experience includes civil litigation, multi-party real estate disputes, and other complex litigation matters. While Brad can handle complex cases, he most enjoys working with families or small businesses to resolve smaller, yet equally important disputes. Perhaps Brad’s strongest skill is his creativity in problem-solving a case through mediation or, when needed, in the courtroom. Brad currently serves as a judge Pro Tempore for the Lane County Circuit Court and is President of the Lane County Bar Association.
Brad was born in Canada but has made Oregon his home with his wife and four children for over 20 years. He enjoys the outdoors, performing as a choir member for the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, playing his banjo, and spending time with his family.
